Stage Times
Displayed stage times are always estimates and subject to change.
Specific stage times are often not available until very soon before the event itself, so we are not able to provide more information other than doors time and closing time.
Penge Congregational Church stage closing time is always 11:00pm for live events.
We recommend visitors arrive early for the stated doors opening time for the best choice of seating.
Tickets
Penge Congregational Church operates an online-only box office.
All tickets sold through the venue are strictly non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed.
For tickets purchased via external platforms, please contact your ticket provider directly regarding refund requests.
Tickets cannot be swapped for alternative events, with the possible exception of multiple dates of the same artist/event, subject to availability.
Please contact your ticket agent directly.
For all ticket enquiries, including lost tickets, please make a note of your ticket provider. The venue is not able to action any requests or queries for non–Penge Congregational Church purchased tickets.

If your ticket is purchased through a third-party platform and you cannot locate it, please arrive prepared with the email address used to book your tickets and the platform used when purchasing, and the box office will support entry.
Penge Congregational Church will not take responsibility for the validity of tickets purchased from unauthorised agents or other sources.
Engaging with third-party resellers is at your own risk, and the Church can take no responsibility for mis-sold tickets.
We reserve the right to cancel without refund and/or refuse entry for tickets sold above face value, in cases where an attempt to gain entry more than once on the same ticket is made, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Seating
Penge Congregational Church’s auditorium is a fully seated-only venue.
For the majority of events, seats are unreserved and taken on a first-come, first-served basis. We advise arriving early for the best choice of seats.
Some events may have a reserved seating. This will generally be marked in a reserved area chosen by the promoter. Seating within that area remains unallocated ticket holders. Reserved ticket options will be available at checkout where applicable.
Penge Congregational Church is a listed church building; therefore, some of the seats in the auditorium are wooden pews. Customers are welcome to bring a small cushion for their visit.
For those with specific access needs, we have a small allocation of seats we can reserve. Please see our Accessibility page for more information or email the events team.
Accessibility and arrangements for those with Special Needs
People who are unable to use the steps into the church may gain access from a sloped ramp at the side of the church. If there are any special arrangements that need to be made please email pengecongregational@gmail.com.
Lost Property
If you have lost an item at an event, please contact the events team. While we will do our best to find lost items, Penge Congregational Church is not responsible for any items left at the venue.
Queuing & Neighbours
You may need to queue outside when you arrive at the venue. Queue times can vary greatly, and we aim to admit everyone within half an hour after doors open. As seating is unreserved, please arrive early for the best choice of seats.
Doors opening times vary between events—please see individual event listings nearer the event date.
Please respect our neighbours when joining the queue, ensuring you queue safely on the pavement. Entrances and gates/railings of residential properties must be kept clear at all times.
Please also ensure all litter is disposed of in bins provided. When leaving the venue, please keep noise to a minimum.
Latecomers & Re-entry
Penge Congregational Church operates a strict no re-entry policy.
For most events, latecomers are admitted on applause.
Occasionally, a no-latecomer policy may apply for certain events (e.g. classical performances or short events).
This will be displayed on the event listing.
Anti-Touting Measures
For some events, anti-touting measures will be in place. In these cases, the named ticket holder must be present with photo ID along with all other ticket holders at the time of entry.
Accepted ID includes valid passports, driving licences, and recognised photo ID cards.
We will provide information on event listings where these measures apply.
Penge Congregational Church does not resell tickets from its box office, and staff/security do not engage with sales outside the venue. Unauthorised sellers may be asked to move on.
Travel & Parking
We encourage green, sustainable travel to Penge Congregational Church.
There is no private parking available. Please see our Location & Travel section below for directions.
Bag Policy
Bags will be checked by security upon entry—please be prepared to assist with this process.
No food, drinks, glass, or controlled substances may be brought into the venue.
You may keep your bag and coat with you if they do not obstruct others. Where possible, please bring minimal items.
Penge Congregational Church is not responsible for loss or damage of items left in the church.
Lighting
Stage lighting, including LED lighting, is used for all concerts.
Strobe lighting may also be used. If you have a photo-sensitive condition, please contact the events team in advance.
Toilets
There is one toilet on the ground floor, at the rear of the church.
Additional toilets are located in other parts of the church building—please ask stewards for directions.
Age Restrictions
Age restrictions vary depending on the event—please check event listings.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Under 18s are not permitted in the bar area.
Children aged 3+ require a ticket unless stated otherwise.
Babies under 3 who will not be seated do not require a ticket.
Some events may be loud—hearing protection is recommended for children.
Photography, Recording & Filming
A no photo/filming or recording policy applies unless otherwise stated.
Professional cameras may only be used with prior approval and appropriate passes.
Visiting the Church
Penge Congregational Church is not generally open to the public except for:
Weekly Sunday services (from 10.30am).
Prams, Pushchairs & Buggies
Due to the nature of the building, during performances space is limited. We recommend not bringing pushchairs where possible. Limited cloakroom space may be available.
Dogs / Animals Policy
Only registered service animals are permitted. Please notify the events team in advance if you plan to bring one.
